▼Preparing for a Gentle Autumn Detox
As we approach the autumn season, we may feel the need to refresh and recharge our bodies. In this article, we'll explore some thoughtful ways to prepare for a nourishing detox, including selecting wholesome products and supplements, and cultivating self-care practises that support our wellbeing. Let's take a gentle approach to cleansing, focusing on what truly nourishes us.

I'm updating last year's autumn detox and it occurs to me that I need to do some proper research on good Swedish products and supplements, as much of what I used last year is unavailable here in Sweden. I've spent a lot of time finding the best in California that has high quality for a reasonable price and now I have to do the same again here. Something I have already learned, however, is that in general (unfortunately) what is most expensive is usually also the best. In that case, I have to decide which products and supplements I really need!
This autumn's detox may include the following products and supplements: local, preferably organic produce (if available), protein powder from fish or cows, vitamin D, probiotics, CaMg, vitamin B complex and cod liver oil.
However, the most important thing about an autumn detox is not what I put in my mouth, but what my body absorbs from what I put in it. I will be excluding allergens such as gluten, dairy, soy products, nuts, alcohol, caffeine (and in my case coconut) to give my body a real break. When these allergens are later reintroduced, it will be easy to see if I have developed a hypersensitivity to any of them.
To get the best results, I also need to take care of myself during these weeks. This means cooking with great care, sleeping long enough at night, meditating and moving during the day.
But above all, I need to be prepared and motivated! I know what a great result detoxing gives and I also realise that I will need new energy in the autumn, as I am no longer used to autumn darkness and bad weather.
Thought of the day:
Why not boost yourself with some new energy before the old one runs out?
